While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Good morning! My husband and I have done lots of travel this year so don't get on that much. Andrea, what a beautiful grandbaby! Love that photo. Enjoy your new grandchild.
Currently in Minnesota visiting my husbands cousin, it is beautiful here with perfect weather. Hope when i get back to TX it will be cooler there as well. We will head to Glacier on the train and then on to Seattle where we will see my daughter and Grandkids. My daughter recently returned from a training and certification deployment (?-might not really be correct terminology) but they were gone about 8 weeks, seemed longer than that.

Hey sorry I've been MIA it's been crazy and I've been in a funk..getting better now! Rachael had little Nathan on 21 Aug via c-section, he was a big boy 8 lb 5oz, she is a tiny thing so....I'm heading down there next week will be staying a couple months maybe longer depending of if he gets orders or not...he made Chief so things are up in the air at the moment. Rach had some military newborn photos done and I requested one with her uniform (she was medically retired less than a year after they married so she never changed her name, for those who didn't know) just wanted something that represented both of them and I'm so proud of her service. Anyway here it is I was really pleased how it turned out. He's 8 days old in this pic

Good Morning to Everyone.
I will agree with you Catsmom, it did feel like a year in only a week. But I also get a 3 day weekend. YEA!!!. My boss comes back after the weekend. So it will be a little more stressful for a few days. Sorry I was AOL yesterday. I woke up late and didn't have time to get on my computer and when I finally made it home, it was just in time for the Seahawk game. My daughter would of killed me if I would of missed that. LOL. Everyone have a fantastic weekend.
