Thanks, Rhonda!  I'll remember:  Aqua = BAD!!!!

karen0801, depends on where you want to stay.

There is a Sheraton just down the road from the Hale Koa in Honolulu that we stayed at last summer. It was reasonable and nice. Your son does not have to be there to make your reservation. He just has to be there for you to check in.  Most of the hotels we looked at were around $150 a night.  There are a few in Wailkiki that are less but are not near the beach. Just depends on what you are looking for.
DON'T stay at anything with the word Aqua in it!!!

Can anyone recommend reasonable hotels in the Honolulu area?  My son is out on deployment and can't make any reservations for us.  Thanks!!!

Hi, my son is now stationed in Hawaii at the sub base. Does anybody know of any good bakeries that are approved to deliver there? His bday is coming up and I would like to have a dessert delivered. Thanks

tysmom.....haven't started packing yet.  My husband would cry if I started this early!  He doesn't like things left out if they can be put away!!! But I am starting to count the days. Having to stop myself from shopping too much for the grandson. They don't have very much room at home so I can't bring too much with me.  Christmas will be tough!
