Just got back from A school graduation. It was great, we missed our sailors graduation due to her being in FIT. It was great, much smaller but did not have to content with the traffic! Better yet she than got to fly home with us for her tune off!

I know is not the same but if your sailor misses PIR you still have the chance to go to A school graduation, not as big as PIR but it is a great experience to share with your sailor. Homecoming from deployment is also another chance to share with our sailors. They have a meet and great the night before homecoming and the day of homecoming there is a gathering and some kind of activities for navy families.

To me it felt as exciting as PIR when I went to my sailors homecoming. There will always be a chance to show your support while our sailors are serving.

I'm not an expert on fit to rcu, but I believe it is a change in status and you would get one. you do when they go from the division to rcu. hang in there!

My daughters foot is hurt and that's why she is having a hard time passing her runnig. She had x-rays yesterday. If she had a crack or held for medical would I have gotten a call? This waiting game is killing me!!

congratulations!!! that's awesome. my sailor is more fit now than ever before. they learn the importance in fit.... more than any other sailor. the tests are every6 months, leaving no time to relax into old habits.... without big consequences! but our kids know this and won't. they have been through too much! enjoy her leave!

Update on Lilly, after being in FIT for a month she passed her run back in August. Thanks to sammy1990 advice she kept up with her running while at MA school and she passed her final PFA this morning at 05:30. Now she gets to come home for 10 days then on to her first Duty Posting. Thanks again sammy1990 you are a life saver!

Thank you sammy1990! I will send lots. She has a hurt foot, possible fracture. She has x-rays today. I'm so fearful of the outcome.
Congratulations Arvelta I am so happy for and your sailor!!
