You have joined the group, PIR 11/30/2012 TG 3; there you will connect with others with loved ones training with your SR. Later there will be a discussion in the group for that division.

Since your Recruit is in a performing division, you may also want to join the Group, 900's division sailors. There will be information on there that relates to your situation. Here is a site I found that explains about 900 Divisions, The Requirements for the Navy RTC 900 Division

There are 3 types of 900 divisions. There are the Band/Bluejacket Choir/Drill team, otherwise known as Triple Threat (the musicians, singers, and drill team), the Sticks (those who carry the state flags), and the Ship Staff/Honor Guard (the body snatchers, those who guard various things...). Three 900 divisions perform their duties at each PIR, the 900 division(s) from that TG and if needed one to three 900 divisions from the next one or two TG's. Each 900 Division performs in their own PIR and in the PIR for one or two TGs ahead of their own. They may also have performances in the community--that happens mainly for the Triple Threat though. I believe that Division 903 is a Triple Threat Division.

Triple Threat is comprised of those who are on that weeks' Jr. Rifle Drill team and all those who were chosen for their musical abilities. The Blue Jacket Choir performs the National Anthem, Anchors Aweigh, and anything else they've been tasked with. The band plays at various time throughout the ceremony. The Drum Corps also marches and helps everyone else stay in step and keep time.

Watch the RTC’s fB page beginning 2 weeks before your SR’s PIR and you may catch a glimpse of your SR.

wow, no kidding.  I am learning how to use this site.  It is a bit confusing since I very seldom am on FB or do anything on the computer other than work (doiy).  My daugher is actually a singer so that is good, she has been in choir all her life and has been to Chicago a couple of times touring with a childrens choir and has been to Blue Lake so that is good for her.

Thankyou for the information!

You are very welcome.

Any one have a spouse in ship 2 div 903
I just found out my son is on ship 2 Div 903. What does this mean?

It means you posted your question in a discussion that ended 3 years ago. But all the advice above regarding perfoming divisions is still valid.
