Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 001 and 002

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

OnlySonNavyBound, have you heard from your son? I got one phone call on 10/2. None since, haven't expected more yet. And no letters. Not sure my sons gonna write me. I told him not to feel like he had to. I've been doing enough writing for both of us.

my son is Ship 03 Div 002. I am going to Sarges as well and we'll be staying at Springhill Suites. Coming in Thursday and leaving Saturday. Didn't book flight yet so not sure about times but will definitely be in before Sarges :0)

Hi jerZeymom. Our sons are brother div. training together. Mines div001. Look forward to MTG you. Will be at Sarges too.

Our sons are in the same ship & Div! Will see you at Sarge's!

awesome! will be nice to meet some parents before the PIR. Told my son about this forum in a letter. Would be funny if some of our kids were already friends!

Hi love my sailor. My sons div 001!! Wow. The life experience they are sharing, huh!? Where are you from? We're texas. Staying at navy lodge thus night and Hilton at the airport Friday night, assuming my son will be heading to airport fmin the night, for flight to Pensacola sat. Where's your sr going to A school?

thats what Im doing also. Well I'm staying at Springhill Suites Thursday but then booked Hilton O'hare for Friday night so I can see him off too :0)

Jerzeymom, neat. You booked Hilton too. I guess if I find out when we see them at pir that he doesn't fly out till Sunday, I'll stay in town, great lakes, Friday night, and do Hilton sat night. I'm so in town till Tues. My oldest son and grandkids live in the area.

yea. Not sure if that's where he'll be flying out of but we will be so if anything at least it makes an easy commute to the airport! That's nice that you have family in the area and can have an extended family trip.

Can those in div 001 clarify who you are!? If you don't mind. I'm having the darndest time getting it straight. I know there's a few div002 moms posted, and we're brother div. But also trying to clarify div 001 moms. Help!?
Hi Texasmom
My daughter is Div 001 and am so psyched for PIR. Unfortunately I will not be attending the meet and greet since I will be arriving around 9ish, but will definitely be having a cocktail.
