Posted on FB groups too. ALL items need to be gone THIS SUNDAY! My son has a few things he is willing to get rid of/sell before he moves to his duty station. He has a futon- black leather like that he would like $50 or best offer for. A wheelie black meshed desk chair, 3 x 3 plastic folding table that folds in half to be about 1.5 x 3' rectangle and a Wind machine Fan... PM me for his phone number... ID post pics, but I don't know how from my phone...

Thanks for the info. I did forward a copy of the flyer to my son, but he doesn't know the guy and hasn't seen him.

heidi86 - unfortunately they have not found him yet.  There's also a FaceBook page: Finding Vincent Ferdin that posts updates.

Good Morning.  I know we don't normally post any information on here that identifies a sailor but I think it's important to post this.  This Sailor - Vincent Ferdin - is missing.  He is in Goose Creek, SC, in the last part of prototype.  His mom, Rena Ferdin, was contacted by the Navy on Monday that he had been missing for 2 days.  HE IS STILL MISSING.  She is in Goose Creek & has been there since Tuesday.  Please share this with your sailors & perhaps someone will know something or remember something that could help in finding him. This has been posted on various FB groups and there is also a FB page dedicated to finding him "Finding Vincent Ferdin".

How big is the graduation from A school?

Hi tmansmom - Welcome!  Make sure your read "Your Sailor's Schedule Upon Arrival at Goose Creek" & "Nuke 'A' School" above.  Both will give you some good info.  Also, make sure you come over to the Nuke Mom's group.  It's a little more active than this page and you will get quicker responses!

Thank you, Yells Horse Gal! I'm not sure when he starts. He was told the guys from his division who had PIR on 8/14 with him started actual classes on Monday. He'd been in contact with the guys and they had been doing prework. I hope he's able to catch up quickly. When he went to THU he would not be behind upon his arrival to Charleston. He was tired once he made it to base and he wanted to go to bed. I'll get more details tomorrow. Any information you have about A School is appreciated.
