Yes joshmom, for sure they need R&R. They work so hard day and night. I told my son that maybe he could find a good place to get some authentic food!

I enjoy following this feed as when I hear from my sailor I get no information until long after anything happens. Then it is a one or two word reply to my one or two paragraph update from home. So, thank you to those that post as it helps me to feel more connected.

Good Morning Navy Family,
Beach Bunny Thanks for keeping our group updated. I am like you with reading everything I can about the Navy, the GW and constantly following the ship on FB. I scroll through every picture on the GW page hoping to glimpse my son. I email my son or FB messeage him daily. He wasnt happy they decided to remove his wisdom between ports & he had 3 days SIQ. He was ready for the next port, which they should be there now.

Am surprise how quiet this group is with them being on deployment....:))...that being said.....4 mornings a week, I workout on the treadmill, it's a boring task. I use the time to read up on the Navy and what the ship is doing....two reasons, it's more entertaining then most things on the web, I watch the all hands on deck videos, view photos of the days, read headlines new...why?? Well, keeps me connected with what my sailor is doing while he's gone and it gives me insight to know what the "heck" he is talking about when he calls or emails.....that being said saw these 2 articles in today's headlines on the CVN73..checkout:navy.mil/local/cvn73.....
