AirForceBratinaNavyWorld,

Which ever Blue Candle you get, it will help to deal with the separation sadness we all feel. Our candle is ever vigilant. It illuminates a picture of both our sons. Younger one in the Navy. We just say hi to them every day. Wish them a wonderful day and a few prayers thrown in for good measure. I wish the very best to your son in his Navy adventure.

Our Blue Candle is glowing for All Our Sailors, Family and Friends.

i found a pretty cobalt blue glass candle holder for votive size candles at a garage sale...not a scratch on it...very nice. I enjoy the blue glow. Some here ordered Navy military candles and warmers from Scentsy or Navyoutfitters, online.....very nice but pricey. look in retail stores or holiday craft shows. Put a photo nearby too of your sailor, or memory item to enhance comforting and loving thoughts. Blessings to our Sailors all over the world ❤

Good morning RTCsmominnyc.

We used wax blue candles but six years is a lot of candles. So we got a single Electric Christmas candle, the kind you put in the window, with lots of blue bulbs. Until you get the electric one, use wax blue candles from Walmart or Kmart. They also have battery operated blue candles we use as a backup. Always have a backup. Good military training.

I hope your Sailor is well. Our sons and daughters joined the Navy and we got Drafted! WE are in the Navy Now!

Our Blue Candle is on for All Our Sailors, Family and Friends.

Where do I purchased a Blue candle from? Or it just a random candle?

We are very happy for you Storymom. We all were with you in heart and spirit.

One thing my wife and I have added to our "Sailor Visits" is "Polynesian Breathing!" Put your foreheads together and breath slowly and deeply of the other persons fragrance, body bouquet, you know what I mean. That will last so much more than just  a hug. Each person has that fragrance that is unique to them. Like a fine wine. We got that from the movie "The Other Side of Heaven." Also my wife is from Hawaii.

Have a great day everyone!

Our Blue Candle is on for All Our Sailors, Family and Friends.

Isabel...hope you can attend your sailor's ceremony! ? Very memorable, and take Kleenex! Please join the boot camp moms group here, and also the group for your sailor's semester in Boot, sorted by his/her PIR date. Lots of info, advice and support for new moms. Light a blue candle too and send thoughts and prayers to your loved one during this separation time. (It always comforted me way back then) :-)
