We havent heard for several days so it's nice to hear someone has! I'm sure they are all busy doing their things. Time to get busy with Sat chores. You all have a great day!

Good morning Lorabellee, kind of quiet around here too. I did get an email from my sailor and all seems well which is always reassuring. I sent my sailor his requested bottle of Saracha sauce yesterday. It's hot sauce you get in the Chinese section of the store. It's a dreary, rainy day in upstate NY today. Good day to do indoor chores..

Hope everyone is well

Good morning moms! It's been a quiet few days without my sailor, missing him a lot. Has it been quiet for all of you as well?  I need to start thinking about Christmas cleaning and baking and cards but for now I'll just enjoy the morning quiet.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Just finished our dinner without our son. It certainly was a more quiet one as he is our loud one! God Bless our sailors and the families that support them! You moms all rock!

Just had our first Thanksgiving without our sailor. We have been lucky. Four years and this is the only time he hasn't gotten to come home. Hoping for a call or email, but not holding my breath! Wearing my "Property of USS Harry S. Truman" tshirt for good luck. Happy Thanksgiving and thank God for freedom!

Happy Thanksgiving ALL!  I'm So thankful for all your comments. I really enjoy reading them, it makes me feel just a tad bit closer to my sailor.   @B'sNukeMom Thank you for always posting something to brighten up my day.  :D

BoomMom, that's funny! The first box I sent, I thought was stuck in Chicago as well! I went to the post office and they told me it had moved on but was not showing on my tracking! My son did get the box but, it took about a month.

BoomMom, last I knew all FPO AP mail goes to Chicago.  Once the USPO turns it over to the Military there is no tracking.  Long story about that later, but off to feast.  Hoping they got treated special today for Thanksgiving.
