Sheryl, were your pillowcases included in the count over at the We Stitch Love page? I'll try and look up on the other discussion. Carol

Let me know if you are included in one of these counts. Also, are you on the shipping page for addresses? I have the address if you are. If not, we may have you hold for the next adoption as we never seem to have enough.

The updated count for our Nov/Christmas adoption is
PA Mom - 30
Carol - 25
NM Ladies - 50
Iowa Ladies - 56
Dannette (FB) - 27
Sue in MN - 19

I sent 6 boxes on 11/25 - Our team of nurses sent over 150 items from the list to the Great American Bulldogs.  Drink mixes, gold bond powder, mouth wash, cashews, candy, gum, books, puzzles, socks, razors, nail clippers, cracker jacks, peanut butter crackers, checkers...   Coincidentally, our Nurse Manager's son is a Marine in the unit.

Cheryl from Maryland.

That's awesome, ProudMomofD3

Good evening.  I plan to help this month and have asked my team of nurses, techs and secretaries to bring in donations for our Christmas giving project.  My daughter is has graduated "A" school, waiting on orders for her next school and hopefully be able to come home.

My office has agreed to take on this project for our Good Cheer project this year.  We have many items already collected.  One question - do they have access to a microwave at any point?  I received a couple of boxes of Ramen soup but will hold it for next month's group if this group doesn't have the ability to heat water.  Thanks!

Shipped one box today with 200 plus handmade Christmas cards, snacks, wipes, gold bond powder, candy canes, hand sanitizer, mouthwash, q-tips, tampons . . . thanks to my active duty daughter, I was able to fill the box full this month!  Cards traveled from FL  to NC, & shipped from Camp Lejeune USPS.

More handmade cards. The Marines are going to be delighted. Neat that they shipped from Camp Lejeune.

Yes, I'm glad that worked out.  Supplies were bought there.  Why was my box $4 cheaper shipped from Camp L, than from the main PO in Jacksonville, FL?

Good question. I think I pay either $15 or $16 plus change (I can't remember) from post office on the large box. Do you think the base gives an additional discount?

APO/FPO large priority box is $15.90 at the post office and $13.80 on Click 'n Ship. Angela, if you paid less for postage than that......I AM TOTALLY JEALOUS!!!!

The main PO here in Jax, FL has been charging me $19 to $20 for the large priority box.   I'm looking for my receipts now.  Two months ago, I sent my cards in the Medium box for $12.95.    I live at an apt complex so I probably can't do the click'n Ship, but I will look into it.
