I know this is hard for all of us and figured it would be easier to meet those whose son/daughter are there together.

Does the date of arrival change the PIR? I've read in another post that a best guess would be 1/15/16 or 1/22/16.  Looking forward to that letter.

I can't wait to get the letter so I can plan our trip!   I am really looking forward to meeting the other mom's because this is so new and different to us - we just don't know what to expect!

My son left for MEPS on 11/24 but actually flew out on 11/25.

My son also left on 11/24. Looking forward to hearing his voice soon...hopefully. Can't wait to be able to write him.

Washington Mom, I left info for you on your My Page.

My son arrived in Great Lakes on the 24th also. Not being able to hear his voice is such an uncomfortable feeling. Still getting use to all of this. Proud but nervous. Glad you all are here!

racer88, check your My Page and Inbox.

My son left for GL on the 24th too, looking forward to connecting to others with same date. Does anyone have a son or daughter going into the nuke program after basic?

blog34, I left info on your My Page about the nuclear field and more.

My son left the 24th too, and he's entered into the nuke program.

GOT THE LETTER!!! He's on Ship 03 Div 072, anyone else have a son or daughter in the same group? His PIR is 01/22/16.

Join PIR 01/22/2016 TG 11 to connect with others with loved ones training with your recruit.  Divisions 071 and 072 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 (BST) together, so look for others with loved ones in either division.
