I am canceling Saturday.

Comment by MN Mom of MM on March 24, 2016 at 4:13pm

JJ Was looking forward to the birthday gathering this year, but the 16th is wedding of our sailor's best friend.  Have always considered him (adopted) son, so can't miss his wedding.  It doesn't look like this weekend will work for me either with getting ready for Easter with family.

We have been invited on a Friends and Family Day Cruise on the USS Eisenhower for the end of April.  Looking forward to seeing where our sailor lives and works.

I hope that you won't have to cancel.  Remember that the 5th Annual Everybody's Birthday is the 16th of April. If you have to cancel, maybe we can have the Everybody's Birthday at the place you chose.  Just a suggestion.  Let me know, otherwise we will have it at the Roasted Pear in Brooklyn Park.

If anyone else is planning on coming Saturday let me know. Otherwise maybe I'll cancel?? When I set the date I forgot about it being Easter weekend so maybe we wait until April?? Let me know what you think.

Donnie,

Congrats!!!

Try not to keep those secrets of "fame" from the other Navy Moms!  Sometimes the word doesn't get out to the rest of us. Thanks Kassie for the info.

Just had to send a great big HOORAY to Donnie today!  I saw her on the FOX channel 9 JASON show this morning.  I glanced at the TV and said to myself, Hey that's a lady I met at our January 2016 gathering!  WOW!  Congratulations on the 'shaking game' win!!!  You looked mah-velous!  :)  You go, girl!

Amelia's Mom....My son went to St. Thomas and did his NROTC there (years ago). Although I have called it ROTCN for years, that may have changed, like so many other things. He loved everything about St. Thomas, so that is a good choice (I am a little bias). I wish your daughter well. It will be a great experience for her. If you have any other questions for any of the Navy Moms, please ask.
