MBSMomx2 and mysailormeg,

I am so happy for your daughters and their division for winning the Captain's Cup!!!  What an awesome accomplishment!!!

And congratulations MainemomJulie on your daughter's decision to go active!!  Will she still be BU??

JayDee,

No, my surgery wasn't on my knee (unfortunately) but it was a procedure that I have needed for a couple years.  Didn't think I would get it done but the VA came through on that one!!!  The knee may just have to "heal" on it's own!!!  Thanks for the info on BS!!

We have exciting news in our family! Our daughter won't be a Navy Reservist and College sophomore this fall after all. She's opting to serve full-time as an Active Duty Sailor instead! We're SO proud and excited and a little bit nervous! Go Navy! ⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️

MBSMOM - twins! How fun!  I know two young girls that are twins and went into the Navy together last year.  They were told at first that there was no guarantee that they could stay together but they did so well the Navy let them stay on the same track and they are together in Virginia now.  Are you going to Sarge's Meet and Greet?

Anna, I'm sorry, I must have missed something  Did you have your knee surgery?

My daughter said that her whole division did battle sttations at the same time.

MBSMomx2 - that is so awesome, and difficult, to have 2 children in the Navy at the same time!!  WOW!!  My daughter is on Ship 11, Div 180 and was so excited and proud of their group.  This is just what they needed to boost them for Battle Stations which is all about teamwork.  My SR was over the moon happy today!!!  <3 And I am too....
