Hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday. I received a dozen long stemmed red roses. Made my day!! Delivered by one of my twin's friends.

I posted this in the NUKE Moms group, but here it is again for anyone who's not also a member there:

Here's an article on sub life.  All I can say is I got a better feel for life on a sub from this article that includes a few short videos than I've gotten from my son.  He's not a big talker:)  http://www.cnn.com/2016/05/06/politics/life-on-uss-missouri-nuclear...[1045047558903121]&action_type_map=[%22og.shares%22]&action_ref_map=[]

Hello all!!

I hope all you moms had a good day.  I know the ones who have sailors on deployment are not hearing from them, but I am sure they are thinking of you and are sending WAVES of hugs!

madhoby,
Mine just completed A School on Friday and I'm BLESSED to have him home this week.  I realize that I'm not always going to be this lucky, so I'm not taking if for granted.  He and I spoke about your message too.  I told him that on these special days, when he is underway, to please send me vibes of love.  He said he would.  So I'm sure there are LOTS of our guys and gals doing the same today.
HUGS!

Thanks Pooh's Mom....It does get tough at times.  This is the second time he has been out.  The first time was REALLY Tough...

madhoby,
Happy Mother's Day!  I will be in the same shoes at some point, and my heart hurts thinking about it.  Know that your son is sending positive vibes, and love through every drop of water that touches his sub.
HUGS!

If you receive a friend request from a Sophy Rogers, please delete it. This is not a real person, and they are contacting Navy families.

Congrats ELO.Navy.mom! It's always a thrill when our sailors get recognized for a job well done. My son just star reenlisted for another 6 years. So proud and happy for him!
