My fiancé is on holding in Illinois and was supposed to go to Florida for A school. And we would like to get married in July of this year but we aren't sure if he is allowed to get married during school. Does anyone by chance know? Thank you!!

He can marry. You will need to go to him and marry there. Once he is at school, he puts in a special request chit to let them know he is marrying, then he takes a class or talks to the chaplain. Just Google the county clerk for Pensacola to see how and where to marry and what you need.

If you wait until he is in phase 3 liberty, he can spend the night with you on the weekend. The Navy will not pay for you to move there.

My daughter did. They had weekends free and eloped during her A school in San Antonio.

Thank you for posting this!! My fiance and I want to do the same thing.

If you get married, don't move down there until he gets his follow-on orders.

Will she be able to move with him once he has his hard orders for his first duty station?

If the orders were issued as accompanied, then yes.  She can move anywhere in the US on her own dime if they miss out on accompanied orders.  The only problem would be if he got overseas orders, that is completely different.

Yes you can, but has to seek permission. My son got married while in A School.
