Oleander and Tricia,

I love Wildberry!!  When we lived there we used to go there many times.  It is a yummy place.  Also there is a place in downtown Libertyville where we went several times.  If you order 2 eggs you get 4 so I always had to remember to order 1 and I'd get 2!!!!

Oleander, Dena, and Tricia,

You three should see about finding a halfway place to meet up!!!!  And Oleander, lsb, and Tricia get to spend Mother's Day with your girls!!  How exciting!

JayDee,

I won't be spending Mother's Day without any of my kiddos.  But I hope to hear from them!!  The girls are moving Catherine into her own little apartment in Oklahoma.  Not far from her sister and brother in law!!!  Sailor Son is in Sicily so hoping maybe we can skype!!!  Have a safe trip and enjoy the time with your niece.

Have a Happy Mother's Day everyone!!!

Thanks JayDee! Safe travels to you as well! Enjoy your trip ; )

Sounds like a great trip to San Diego Isb - which base did you tour?

Oleander have a safe trip.

Happy Mother's Day to all you ladies. This is my first without either girl so I'm traveling to San Antonio to see my niece. Sitting in the Denver airport catching up and enjoying a bagel.

Hi Edwards19 and Oleander I am cherishing every moment with my daughter, went on a trip to San Diego, thanks to a friend, we got to tour the Navel Base.  It was very impressive.  Now I get Mother's Day and her Birthday.  I hope all the wonderful mother's on this site (with or without their daughters) have a Happy Mother's Day.

Morning everyone and happy Friday!

Tricia- I hope your girl does too! I think they connected in a way that will make them friends for life. There's something about sharing the blood, sweat, tears and success that created a strong bond. Being together on this site does kind of the same thing for us. We get to vent and cry and celebrate together, even if it is over the miles.

Hi Isb - so glad you and Tricia get to have a Mother's Day with your girls before she leaves! Good timing. Get plenty of hugs in!

Hey Blondie, how are you? Been thinking about you and hope all is well.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone. I'm heading to San Diego tomorrow to spend Mother's Day with my Sailor and celebrate her 1 year PIR anniversary together.

So proud of our girls!

Happy Mother's Day weekend!

Isb hello.. My daughter leaves on the 18th, and same thing wants to travel, get education, etc.. Such a great opportunity .. I give these young people so much credit for going in it alone..

Oleander.. I hope and wish my daughter connects with a best buddy ( girl) haha  and goes to the same schooling

Glad to see so many mom's from AZ or familiar with AZ.  My daughter goes to MEPS on Monday, May 9th in Phx.   So excited for my daughter and proud but sad at the same time.   She wants to see the world and this is her opportunity and I am glad I raised a respectable, capable individual.

Awesome! Bring tissues and take lots of photos. My sailor became best friends with a girl in bc. When we looked back at the photos when she swore in she was standing 2 people away from her! They bunked together in bc, are both DC's, went to A school together & shared the same room, both got stationed in San Diego and see each other all the time! Crazy things happen.
