It really is tough for a Mom for real because you so want the best for your children Or something to go through all this time of extensive and there is a chance that you get kicked out because of this. If the SR don't pass certain things I continue praying for her and others that it is in Gods will that they make it

My daughter is having problems with the prone swim and the running and they stated that she wouldn't graduate on time she missed the run by 12 seconds and just can't get the prone swim

MBSMom,

Plan on Sunday, but a lot depends on other factors. Did she miss her run or her swim? This could be a rough couple of weeks for you. If she missed her run she will have up to 10 tries to pass. They will normally run Mon-Wed-Fri of each week. But things like holidays and graduations can change that. Also if she is running and someone else falls they stop the run and that one does not count. My daughter was in FIT for about a month, she passed on her next to the last try! The swim test is different and I am sure one of the other moms can give you more info on that. They will spend their days working out, cleaning, and other things around the barracks. The good news is there are others in FIT so she will have someone to talk to. Everyone will tell you to send her as much mail as possible, it keeps their spirits up!  Postcards work well. My daughter liked getting a little news from home and around the world, also known as gossip.

Does anyone know how the prone float test work in FIT

Navywifejac--My son had a hard time passing it as well. They had him take a course that helped a ton with the mental issues. He would get catastrophic and panicky. The Chaplin was there when he took the test the last time and he said he drew comfort from that.
