Congratulations, RoTcMoM! I remember when you posted about your DD starting at UWNROTC. Seems like yesterday. What a marvelous journey she has had. Best wishes! Our DS was UWNROTC Class of 1997.

Storymom, Love it! My older kiddo moved back home less than 24 hours before my younger one left for BC. No empty nest for me! We love living together as roommates and becoming even better friends as adults. I do miss my "baby" boy, who is thriving in the Navy Nuke pipeline, though. So proud of him!

Love this ♥  ...wish we could 'hang-out' with our sailor son more often, but he's living his adventure!  Luckily, we have his little brother nearby for hugs & visits  :-)

ha ha Storymom, I've wondered that many times myself!!  Even in OCS Jenn had to pay for her own uniforms, but I know the guys bought theirs too then.  But all these gender changes only affect the women so she's bought several new ones already.  And now I hear they are putting women officers in the men's choker whites.  There's goes another fee only the women will have to pay for!!!!

I still have my bucket cover and when Catherine was in, she wore my cover for quite awhile until the original white cover just got too discolored from age.  The newer white covers wouldn't fit on the older style!!!!  So now I have it back!!

meant "cover", not 'hat'...oh....why can't we EDIT our original posts here? grrrrr!
