Did you all see the link on FB from the FRG? They have a couple of Truman items for sale - dog tags & a Truman glass tumbler. I ordered mine! They also have 1st off raffle tickets.
B's love the Hump day pic! Yes, my son can waste money on crap or be frugal depends on his mood, but mostly he's very responsible. When he graduated HS he bought a wheelchair. he didnt NEED a wheelchair but he wanted one. Odd idea right? Well, he wheels around our driveway when his dad is grilling and he even duct taped a red Solo cup to the arm so he could hold a beer in it. What a nut! I miss that nut!
I laugh because he resent am e-mail he sent because he wasnt sure his dad or I got it since neither one of us responded yet. His dad is working in NJ doing contracting work and is really busy and I am just trying to stay on top of house stuff and family drama. So, when we got the second email we both responded right away. He doesnt email often so I found it funny that he worried we didnt get it. We write and wait days for a response from HIM! Oh well...back to housework! Hang in there ladies..we got this!
Lorabelllee - oh to be young and have disposable income lol!
NavyWife - I hope you've been able to get some info for your move. Try asking in the Navy wives/GF group too, hopefully someone there can help.
Hope everyone has a great rest of the week. I'm on vacation countdown - Maui here we come! woohoo ;-)
Hang in there ladies.....you are one day closer......
I am in Southern California and yes the Armed Forces day parade is in Torrance today and I have to miss it due to work :(. I am glad to hear it's just a rumor about the extention. I know it goes without saying that we miss our Sailors, but we are one day closer.
I think B's is correct about the rumor. I received an email from my sailor overnight and he mentioned nothing but that the ship has been hot and stuffy and the waves were rocking the boat but said given all that they were in pretty good spirits . He said the port call was good but he lost playing credit card roulette and ended up with an almost $700 credit card bill from a dinner. Silly son! That's ok, he's single and can afford it! I'll just make sure he buys MY next meal ..hehehe, fair is fair right? It was great hearing from him and I can't wait for them to be home. One day closer!
B's thanks for the pic posting I "borrowed" it for my facebook post for today. :-)
