So happy to learn that I have an AZ2 now. Good luck to all our sailors and Happy Memorial Day.

Beautifully said, Cindy-Kent's mom!  My son was in BC over the winter.  I felt and understand that same pride with his choices.  It was so hard to learn how to let go and trust.  Trust not only the Navy system but to trust the "little boy" where my mind held him.  But, yes, there is an awesome transformation and your "boy" will become the man you were hoping to see - a man with faith, determination, acceptance, potential, tolerance, growth, accountability, responsibility...  I admit the list is long and I am not only unworthy but also unable to state all of it.  But I trust you, as another sailor's mom, to understand where I am coming from - a place of God centric, national pride, family loving, and purpose driven existence. Who wouldn't be proud of that?

Additionally, happy Armed Forces Day (5/21) to all of our sailors, airmen, marines, army and coast guards, and their families!!  I'm flying my flag for all of you keeping us safe and doing what needs to be done.  Thank You!!!

My son goes through PIR next week.  He is PACT Airman right now.  Is this a good group for me to join?

Jenny, My son is E3, still in Pensacola but has been told he is going to the GWHB carrier, any tips for this mom as a newbie, what can I send with him that will make life more comfortable for him. He has been on crutches the last 3 months with a broken ankle and on medical hold but has been released now.

Graduation is not a formal thing during their A school. It is not like boot camp at all. Your seafloor will need to keep you informed of his processes.
