We mailed over 2,00 pillowcases to the USS Wasp, which is carrying the 22nd MEU, another Marine unit.

Wave 2 is finished!  And some thank you notes are rolling in from Wave 1.  I will post some more later.

Carol,
My name is Andrew B from south Carolina. I would like to thank you for your caring and loving gesture with sending us pillow cases, my shipmates and I greatly appreciate it. Have a good day and god bless!

Hi,
I work onboard the Wasp and received a pillow case from you guys. Just wanted to say thanks. I got one with dogs and cats on the end of it and I love cats so it was perfect. Thank you for everything and I really appreciated it.

Mary, Annette, Jolene and Linda,

My name is Alberto from  Ohio. I am active duty on board USS WASP (LHD 1). I want to personally thank you for your kind gift. Your time spent making all of these pillow cases is very appreciative. From all of the Sailors and Marines you've helped throughout the entire time you've been doing this, a TREMENDOUS thank you.

I just wanted to personally say thank you from myself and the rest of my shipmates here at USS WASP for the wonderful pillow cases you sent us. All the love and hard work that went into these definitely shows and makes us all feel a little closer to home. Thank you all for keeping us in your prayers throughout this deployment and that we make it home safely.

Sending all my respects,  AM3 (AW) Alicia  AIMD Department

from our POC after receiving and handing out wave 1:

We are taking pictures but with the internet being so bad will have to send them when the connection is better. The Crew loves them! The pillowcases have been a morale builder.
Carla

Good Morning,

Last night I received a pillow case made by Barbara Sp. I wanted to send my deepest thanks to everyone there. It's incredible to know that there are people thinking of us back on land. It makes me feel a little more at home, and hopefully it will help make our deployment go a little faster. Thank you again, and know that your hard work is appreciated by not only myself, but every person aboard USS Wasp. Have a wonderful day.

Respectfully,
LCpl Rhonda D.  United States Marine Corps   USS Wasp LHD-1

Wave 4 begins on Monday. If you have pcs made, please let me know!  Thanks!!!

Thank you!

We just received a package from Heads at Ease. I have 45 Sailors working under me and the pillow cases where gone just like that. We are very  grateful for each and every one that is a part of your organization. It is nice to know that folks back home in US still truly care about the sacrifices made by the men and women in uniform and that your thoughts, prayers, and Love are with us . From the entire Helicopter Combat Squadron HCS-22 DET 2 deployed onboard the USS WASP we say Thank You from the bottoms of our Hearts!!

How cool is this?????

Thank you Sandy for the pillow cases! They were beautiful. Not one is alike.
It is nice having something to personalize our racks, our only haven on this
ship. I love my pillowcases and I want to say thank you to you and your
team for everything y'all do. Because of your pillow cases, I want to learn
how to sow. Thank you again.

V/r,
IT1 Lisa M.  PHIBRON SIX

Hello,

I just wanted to send a personal thank you to everyone that made these wonderful pillowcases for our ship. Mine was made by Mary G and I just wanted to let her know that her love for dogs is equally shared by myself.

Thank you,   Taylor

To Ms/Mrs. M,

I cant thank you enough for the starry night pillowcase that you made for me. Starry night is my wife's favorite painting and that's saying something considering how big of an art buff she is. Having this to put my head to at night is like having a piece of her here with me while im out here. Thank you so much
                                                                                        Very Respectfully,
                                                                                                                FC3 Kendall

Ms. Debra M, Ms. Mary G and the countless others,

I would like to send my gratitude and give my heartfelt thanks to you and all the others that make up Heads at Ease.  I just received a pillow case from your organization and I truly appreciate what you do for us.  So from me to you, thank you.

Sincerely,
MA1 Martinez, Jeff
