I assumed that that coin was the one as it was posted on his discussion and was the GC training center.

Silly auto correct... I meant a petty officer third class coin? ;)

cO Twinsailors mom... Where did u find that coin? It's really nice. I want to order one ;).

B'sNukesMom... I asked Craig about those coins just a couple days ago and he said he started designing one but there wasn't one available right now...

Is it appropriate to get my son (in A school) an e3 coin with the red stripes? Or a pet officer third class one when he graduates a school?

There are some different coins out there CoTwin for nukes.  I actually have a few, but Craig was talking about designing one specifically for us.  He was taking suggestions from everyone and then the conversation sort of stopped....

MN Mom of MM - in answer to your question about the challenge coins - nothing more ever came of it.  Craig had talked about designing a coin but it never happened :(  I even contacted him several times about it but got no response.....

PattiP - hospice is wonderful.  I work with someone who has Parkinson's in her family.  It is a terrible disease that takes a toll from the patient and the family.  My husband lost his best friend to cancer years ago and hospice was the shining light through that terrible time.  I hope your dad is pain free and finally departs surrounded by loving family & friends.
