Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

We make/mail pillowcases for deployed military: Navy, Army, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard & Nat Guard. As of 9-1418, we have made/given out 82,816 since 6- 08! YTD 2018 is 5,217  We have note cards & labels, please send me a message for them.

Please join the Navy for Mom's for our 7th Annual Pillowcase Project.
For those of you that our new to our group, we gather once a year, making pillowcases to donate to. Fabric for Pillowcases will be provided, but please feel free to either bring fabric from your own stash or purchase material from your favorite fabric store. It takes a total of 1 yard to make a pillowcase (24 inches or 2/3 of a yard for the case and 12 inches or 1/3 of a yard for the band).
Things to bring with you:
Sewing Machine (with Power Cord and peddle)
Machine needles
Thread
Scissors
Pins

If you have the following and are willing to bring these items with you, they would be appreciated:

Iron...
Ironing board
Large Cutting Mat
Large Rule
Rotary Cutters

We have lots of jobs that do not require that you sew, but if you have a machine and need a refresher on how to sew, one of our experienced mom’s will be more than happy to get you started (you would not be the first person to learn to sew on pillowcase day). Please join us for a busy, but fun filled day!

Pot luck salad bar is for lunch. I will bring the Lettuce and Shredded Chicken for the salad. If any of you would like to volunteer to bring things to complement the salad you are more than welcome.
Suggestions for food items:
Salad dressing(s)
Bottled water
Desserts (w/Paper plates)
Tomatoes Napkins
Cheese Plastic forks
Croutons
Cucumbers
Almonds
Whatever it is you like on your salad!

If you are able to join us, I would appreciate it if you could let me know what you are bringing by making a statement in the commitment section, that will help me keep track of what we have coming and if I need to supplement anything.

Hi, thanks for the information and I will email you in alittle while.

I get donations that I hold for shipping.  I do require it to be for 30 or more in a box.  If you use a game box, I can get 35 easily and Maryellen can get more.  

It really depends on how they are made.  The ones with flanges/accent pieces take more space, but I have a creative way to pack those,

Hi Paymaster!!!  I haven't see you much lately.  YES, we do.

We just finished the USS Wasp today.  I was the last mailer.

In 2 weeks we start the USS San Antonio, then the USS Whidbey Island.  So please keep in touch with me.  I am pretty sure that I have your email address. Please refresch my memory on your real name in a message.

I haven't been on her much lately. We mom's here in the Sacramento ca area will be getting together next month and making pillowcases. We hope to make about 200. Do you have a ship or group that can use them? Let me know.

Wave 4 for the USS Wasp is complete. We mailed 430 pillowcases this time. The 5th wave and hopefully the last one is 8-8 thru 8-11.
If you have or can get pillowcases made by then, please let me know.
Our current totals are ytd = 6,639 and are you ready for it??? Do you hear the trumpet and the drum roll? Listen!!!

Project to date is 70,212
