Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Shea he is on a fast attack this is not his regular sub his is being built but when i emailed the ombusman i told him the right boat but wrong color so i am checking again to see if i am on the list i said he was on the blue but his girlfriend told me he was the last one on the gold so maybe that will make a diffance that i had the wrong sub and you are rught he has been so busy over the past month we have not really talked or face timed but i get text from him just saying i love you guys i am safe going to bed got to get up early i will try and call when i have more time which every text i get i cherish no matter how short it is just knowing his heart is still beating and he is ok is what matters and his girlfriend said she emailed his regular email and nothing yet back he said when he deploys it was going to be a short one because he was just getting his qulifacations

navymom2015 is your son on a fast attack or a boomer? If it's a fast attack hopefully he will call or email when they reach a port and you can talk to him then. I know this doesn't bring bring much comfort but sometimes they are just so busy that making sure parents are on those list isn't a priority and time gets away from them. Hang in there!!

This delpoyment is really getting to me and it just started i tried to see if my son put me on list for the ombudsman and i got email that said i was not on the list for calls or emails that just broke my heart no way of knowing my son is ok iam sure he is but the point being is i still want to know how everything is going the same if he was home feeling sad and confused right now

Our son called after getting back from his first underway on the Bremerton. I asked how the trip went, and he answered "it had its ups and downs".

An hour and a half later I suddenly realized ... oooh!

Hello All

First, congrats dukie's  mom on your son earning his Dolphins! Our sailor still has a long way to go for his... first patrol.. im staying positive!

Lindagirl-- sending you hugs!  May Max watch over you all , running free and happy with all of our pets that have gone on. And Happy Birthday to your sailor!  

forgive me for asking this but does anyone have a sailor on the USS Alaska Gold Crew?
