oops....I just deleted the long post I just typed because I use the wrong word ..."sail" instead of "sale"....imagine that.....so I will not retype it all, just part of it.

Praying for SJA and this sailor's mom concerning the upcoming PS comps.

Praying for CoTwin......we know that the FATHER has all things pertaining to you all worked out....doors will open and doors will close for your good and HIS GLORY....we pray for your peace in the interview process and for the "sale" of your bakery.....would have loved one of your cookies, but am diabetic...... we will follow and rejoice with you over the way the LORD works all this out....full of thanks for His Faithfulness.

Now, everyone relax and enjoy the day....rest, chill, be thankful.

Hello all!! My Nuke is considering STA-21 at the behest of his command. Anyone have any experience with this? Does he have a better chance after being in the fleet and having his fish and all of his quake for watch stations? Does he really have to go through the pipeline again as a JO?

SAJ's Mom, comp is the comprehensive final. If he doesn't pass, then he will go before another board to decide if he knows the material well enough to graduate. If not, then he would be out of the program. That would be a setback, but no more than that. As I like to put it, a change of course, not a shipwreck.
I know it is hard, but it is best to just trust that it will work out as it should.

Mysonis an MM at Power school in Charleston. He's scheduled to graduate 2 weeks from today. He has struggled on and off thru entire power school phase. He went to review board 2 weeks ago and was only one out of group to pass board. He passed his final this week and has one more next week. He is deeply concerned about comp which is a week from Tuesday (week of graduation) what happens if they fail comp and what exactly is comp?

Co-Twin,
Good luck on the job interview.  You should be able to impress them with your knowledge and work ethic.

My ex husband retires in January and we need to go back to court to renegotiate support. I can't retire fir ten years yet. My lease is up Oct 1st so I thought I should quit the bakery and sell it. I need a job that pays better. This job I am interviewing for is a head chef job. Fewer hours good pay.

Hey PattyP.......like the others, I am extending prayers for you and your dad.....my brother was in Maryland close to my dad when he was in his last years after mother passed.  It is so hard for a man to lose his abilities to take care of himself and to feel any purpose at all....I pray for mercy, and peace in his passing.....thanks for sharing your thoughts and needs....thanks for giving to this community.....
