Hi everyone. I am back. I used to be in this group awhile ago. If you look on the list of members, You will see a picture of a  baby  lying against a  red striped blanket. That's my old  profile picture. I had to do my  profile all over again . But thats okay. I am looking forward to reconnecting with some of you, and making new friends.

Good Morning
I just found and joined this group. This is great,a group from New York. I live in Dutchess County and my 18 yr old son is leaving today for MEPS and going to Great Lakes tomorrow and yes I will be going today and tomorrow with him .. lol, He is Navy Reserve, lots of emotions happening. Very proud of him yet a bit nervous and of course you are never ready to let them go.
Any way, any Dutchess County Moms here? Either way it's nice to have a local group.

I'm kind of close to you Carol, I'm in Suffolk County near Port Jefferson. Are you able to spend time with your daughter before the separation?

Hi NukeMomCarol, hang in there. I was like you, but he graduated boot camp in 04-2014 and he's re-enlisting because he loves it so. Where in NYS are you?
