Hello all, just wanted to say I truly appreciate the sense of family the ladies on this site, the FRG and Ombudsmen promote.  It was thrilling to meet several  of you at the homecoming events.  God bless you all!

My son and daughter in law happened to be on base picking up his dry cleaning and got to see the ship. They took a great picture at sun set and it looks so huge! the sky behind it was beautiful also.  I am going to visit him and her this summer. I can not wait to see them.  I am sure it was wonderful to see your son coming in on his ship!  Happy for all who got to go and hopping that will be me some day.

One of the biggest regrets that I have about not being in SD for the homecoming is that I will not be able to meet the Navy Moms that have been such good friends during this deployment. You have meant a lot to me, and I hope that I will be able to meet you in the future.
