Hi! My daughter has been assigned to the USS O'KANE. She is currently in San Diego for C school for VLS. She will report to the ship after graduation in November.

I see no one has posted for a long time. I am new to this page. My son has been assigned to this ship beginning sometime in November. Would love to hear from any one with a loved one assigned to this vessel :)

Here's my 40 pillowcases and 5 boxes of goodies going out.  SHHHH....it's still a secret to those sailors.

My son has been with the O'Kane for about a year and a half. this is also his first deployment. my best advice is: put together a care package for him...it will keep you busy and mean the world to him, stay in touch with him as best u can- when u can't, follow the O'Kane Facebook page- and pray a lot!
