Anybody out there yet?  Happy 5 year anniversary to those who PIRd on 10*8*10. How many have stayed in the Navy?  My son has chosen to re-enlist and will soon be stationed at Pearl Harbor. I am so glad I've gotten to share this adventure with you all.  Blessings to you and yours.

I'm a day late, but Happy 3rd Anniversary all of you in PIR 10/8/10. Quite an adventure so far.   My son is an EO and is now deployed to Africa. His home port is Gulfport. I hope you and yours are all well and happy. God's blessings to you all who have shared this.

Happy Thanksgiving to all and your Sailors

Wow, 2 years is hard to believe.  It's cool to hear what our sailors are doing.  Mine is still at Stennis Space Center as part of the fleet survey team and will be there at least another year until he can go to C school.  He is currently on his 4th survey and is certainly seeing the world.  Maria, it's sad to hear about your sons struggles, my thoughts and prayers for your family.

Maria - so sorry to hear about your son's struggles and injury.  If I remember correctly from 2 years ago, our son's were bunk mates in boot camp.  I will pray for strength and recovery for your son.  My son just got his first duty assignment last month after spending 2 years in South Carolina in school.  To all you other PIR 10/8/10 moms out there - hope your kids are thriving in this new life they have chosen for themselves!!

Happy PIR Anniversary everyone!!  I share the sentiments of others that I really would have been a wreck without this group.  I hope all of your sailors are successful and happy.  Mine is still in Nuke training in Balston Spa, but should be done in early January and will then head out to the fleet.  It seems like yesterday we were in Chicago, enjoying a beautiful fall weekend.  Best of luck to all of you!

Well, we're into this adventure 2 years now...Happy Anniversary! My son is a Seabee--an equipment operator homeported in Gulfport, MS and has just returned there from an 8 month deployment to the sandbox. He loves what he is doing and I am very thankful for that.  I wanted to thank each and every one of you for supporting me along the way, I certainly could not have done this without you all. God's Blessings on you and yours.
