Welcome back!  My DC has been in Hawaii just about a year.  We are visiting in January!

Welcome back! Congrats to your son! My DC son, still a relative newcomer, is stationed in Sasebo, Japan aboard the USS Wasp.

Very cool!  Welcome back!  I’m a month in with a DC.

Hi all--After a 4-year break, I am back.  My son just joined the Reserve!  Still a DC.  I am so happy for him.

My Sailor is an instructor and there will be lots of pictures taken. Your DC will have them to forward to you. Have a great visit.

If anyone is going to graduation this week, please let me know.  We cannot make graduation and would love to get a photo or two.  We are arriving on Sunday to visit and take our Sailor on Monday to get a week of respite before shipping out.

My sailor graduated last December, I don't remember anyone having an arm sling!

The A School graduation is not that formal to have parents there. But so wonderful of you to attend. Did you see an instructor with his arm in a sling? That's my Sailor!!

librarianmom  Thank you!

We went to the DC graduation, it was short and in the hallway, but we are able to get pictures with him and his instructors and fellow shipmates.  We were the only parents there, but it was great because we took our sailor and a friend out to dinner and spend a few hours the next day when him.
