From my son's experience in Mayport, most rentals all realize the service men and women cannot commit to a lease.  If they are sent somewhere else most lease agreements need some type of verification of breaking the lease.  Maybe a copy of the orders.  This is what I believe to be true.  I could be wrong.  Hope that helps!

can anyone tell me if a sailor is able to change rooms ?

Comment by 3 boy mom on August 13, 2017 at 4:58pm

Hello Alley Cat

It has been hard to have him leave again after being home for 14 days, he said he is frustrated, his room is gross the bathroom dirty, it has been a little stressful not being able to help him out. I know he will be fine once he gets settled in. I am very excited as well to see his new home. It snows a lot out here so it will be a great place to visit in the winter for sure, you will have to let me know how your son does.

My son was there for two years, and absolutely LOVED it. He lived in Ponte Verda Beach on in a little cottage, and rode his bicycle to the base.  Your sailor will LOVE it. My sailor is now in San Diego.
