I have a daughter who just left a week ago and am very depressed over it.

I have sent letters and cards already.  Does anyone else have a daughter or son

in this ship and division?

I don't have anyone in that Div, but I understand how you feel. I try to turn it around and remember what an awesome decision she made to serve her country. I also remember how proud she was that, at a young age (she just turned 18 in Jan) she was going to do something that matters.
Stay strong this is just another milestone in her life.
Hugs

Hi again.  I find it easier to get through this if I write her everyday.  Even if I don't have much

to say.  I just try to write to tell her to stay strong because I know how much she

wanted to to do well in Boot CAmp.  I know from her form letter the small amount they got

to write at the bottom, she is definitely homesick.  I hope the other people in her division

help each other through this. I hope we can meet on June 17 too.  Did you set up your travel arrangements yet.  I

booked the hotel so far, haven't booked plain yet or rental car.

God Bless them!

Ship03 Div 209 .. Has anyone recieved the "I'm a Sailor " call yet?
