Yes very exciting except being away from my family and the only place i lived my entire life in Southern CA and my husband is home and gone all the time I am having a hard time finding any friends since there's no housing on base and i feel very weak because this is all so new to me! I just need some girl talk! and someone to vent to once in a while!

This is a good place for you to be then. We will be able to be there for you. I live in Lynnwood. That is South of Everett about 15 minutes away. If you ever want to get together just send me a note and we can get together.

Thanks we live in Lynnwood too! lol but since the base is in everett i figured more people would read it! Its nice to meet you! :)

Oh By the way I forgot to add. Congrat's.

What part of Lynnwood. We live by the mall. About 1 mile from it.

We are on Highway 99 lol if you know where that is!

Congrats to u and the hubby! I am actually in Phx but Navy daughter is in Everett so I sent her your text. Good luck up there.

Hi Thank you so much! :)

Hi Brianna! I'm also in Lynnwood, not far from the mall. Congratulations to both you and your hubby! Is this your first baby?

I have a son who is a Reservist in the Navy, and a Seabee. He and his wife live south of Seattle. Let me know if there is anything I might be able to help you with. I'll "friend" you!

Welcome DK! The same invitation goes out to you as far as getting together. I live in Lynnwood also. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need to. I'll friend you also!

Hey gals... don't forget that the WA moms meet once a month for lunch!  Sometimes we write letters and sometimes we pack boxes...  but mostly we meet to share pictures and stories about our sailors adventures and have a great time together!  Hoping you can all join us next time we meet!!

When is this months get together and were?

Absolutely... watch the main room and we usually post an invite on the events page also!!  Will probably be mid August... I am heading down to SD in a week to take care of my sailor...  he is scheduled for some surgery now that he is back from deployment...  he really did not want to have the surgery in the gulf!!
