Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 812 and 813

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

I know they are slightly on a different schedule but do they get to call after the two weeks like the other Div? Are they allowed to call during the week or the calls are only during the weekend? Just wondering. My phone is pasted to me and It's hard to concentrate at work. LOL

Also, he did not take a phone card. How would he be able to call?

He should be able to pick one up at the nex.
I sure hope so. I haven't heard from him. Thanks.

Cayey, unfortunately you may not know when the call is coming. My son only called home 3 times, but I have seen past groups get much more. Calls come randomly, no rhyme or reason.

Thanks sjtina. I'm not one to be tied to my phone so this is an adjustment for me. I even sleep with it. Lol

When will we know how much time they will have after graduation before they have to be back?

It is going to depend on if your sailor is flying out to school or staying in GL. Those flying out will have until about 8pm on Friday. Those staying in GL will have a split day on Friday. Those in GL will have about an hour after PIR before they move to the TSC side, which will take several hours. After they are moved they will call, and they will have until approx 10pm.

Thank you.  He has to go to Pensacola for school.

Once we get there I believe it is all on good behavior for liberty. My husband said he may get Sunday, all depends.

Thank you.  We miss him so much.  Still waiting for the second call.  Does those phone cards have unusual area codes?

navyso, if your husband is staying in Great Lakes, then you can expect to have him the whole weekend as long as you return him each night at the designated time.
