Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 263 and 264

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello from NC. I have a daughter in 263. Sure do miss her.

My son is Ship 09 Division 264.  We are from St. Louis, MO.  His name is Matthew Reynolds.  I know he has made friends with a gentleman from Kentucky who played football for the University of Kentucky. It would be great to friend his mom or other relative.

My son Sean D. is in the same class, but he is not the football player. Would love to keep in contact though, so we can keep each other up to date on whatever may come our way.

Hi all!

I have a daughter in 263....We are from Michigan. She has made friends with a young lady from Michigan, she shipped out from the same station on July 1st in Utica, MI. She had a ton of family there...Would love to connect with her mom or others!

My son is in Division 264 and from TX.  He tried calling us Sat. afternoon, but we weren't home!!!  He sounded so disappointed in the message he left.  :(  I feel just horrible.  I hope he gets another chance soon.  I have been mailing him several cards and letters since we got his mailing address last week, so I hope he at least got those by now.

NavyMomma89 - I spoke to my son on Saturday and he did say they get to call every 9 days so if that stays true you should hear from your son early next week again.  So no worries about missing this past call - keep your phone with you.  Thanks HockeyMom.

My son is in Ship 12 Div 263.  Don't know if this is the right group or not.  Sure do miss him.

Hi Rachel!

 I have a daughter in SHIP 09 DIV 263!

Anyone in this DIV 264 received their form letter yet? It will be 3 weeks Monday and still no letter or form.

(copied and pasted from duplicate discussion)

Hello, I am so confused. The form letter I got from my daughter said she was in Ship 9, Div 263. Then the first letter I got had a return address of Ship 12, USS Triton, Div 263. So, how can I find out which is correct? I sure would like to her from some other Moms.

I can't speak for Div 263, but I know Div 264 has been changed from Ship 9 to Ship 12, so it sounds like there is a good chance the same thing happend with Div 263.  We got a "make up" phone call last night from our son, who missed us on his first attempt to call us the previous weekend, so we were so happy to hear from him.  He is doing well, but needs to re-take his first written test.  He said he will be calling us tomorrow, Tues., 7/22, so I am thinking perhaps others might be able to make another call then too?  I don't know how that works.
