Got to talk with him couple times at airports in Richmond and Chicago. Got scripted call at 11pm that night. Can't wait for the box and form letter with address. Have started writing letters already. So proud!

My son arrived on the 15th as well. I talked to him when he got off the plane in Chicago then got the scripted phone call about 11:15.

My daughter shipped to boot on 7/15 also. Disappointed we didn't get her address on her call home, so anxiously waiting for that first letter!

Hi IDNukeMom-I don't think the address is known at the time of that 1st scripted call (or at least dont think so) but I could barely understand what my son said anyway, there was so much noise in background there. Good luck to your daughter!

IDNukeMom, The address and PIR date will be in The Form Letter, which will arrive about 10 days after arrival.

Check your My Page.

Thanks lemonelephant - guess I'm just being overly anxious!

It can come any day now. Some with recruits who arrived on the 15th received the form letter today. It will all depend on when her division filled.

IDNukeMom - does the ID in your name indicate you are from Idaho?  My son shipped from Boise, so was just curious if you are here with us!  :-)

Hi Tonysmom, yes, we are in Idaho and my daughter shipped out from Boise.  Our kids probably know each other!  I was wondering if there were any other Idaho mom's signed up.  Maybe we'll meet up at PIR!

So have you received your box yet? We haven't.  :-(

Nevermind!! I got it just now....just his phone but we knew that was all he was going to ship us back he wore old clothes to donate and/or just throw away so he didn't have to pay for the shipping.  :-)  Maybe in the next day or so I will get form letter so I can send letters I've been writing

Hi Tonysmom--it was more like at 11:10pm when Sean called, so about same time as yours. Good luck to your son!

Thank you!! Good luck to yours as well.  Tony sounded very tired and a bit scared when that phone call came in and I was very glad I had talked to him during airport stops as well because he was so excited during airport stops and I just got worried after the scripted call. I miss him sooo much but am soooo very proud of him.
