My son left Tuesday. I got the call at 1:30 am he sounded good. Will the address and division number come in the box? Can't wait to get his address.

No, don't expect anything in the box but his personal stuff.

His address and PIR info comes in the "form letter", around 10 days after leaving.

Now, head on over to the "Boot Camp Moms" group, ( http://navyformoms.com/group/bootcampmoms ),  for more info and support.

Hey ProudNavyMom, I would love to help you in anyway.  I am new to all this myself. My son just got out of the hospital up in Chicago.  He is reporting back to boot camp, and will most likely be training with a new division now.  I did get the form letter, but now it is obsolete. So I get to wait again. YAY!!  LOL!!!  I did get to discuss P week with him.  He said the food was good.  It is tough at first, but they all are in it together, so not so bad.  He also shared some funny stories, so not always so serious.  It helped me to understand what he is going through.  He was more nervous about things like going to the bathroom and showing with everybody.  He said after P week it's not that big of a deal. His spirits were high and he was ready to hit it again.  I am so glad that his 5 days in the hospital did not discourage him.  He feels much better and ready to go.  I will not know where along the line he will start back at.  He might be starting P week again.  I guess I will have to wait on a letter. I have learned that no news is good news in the first 3 weeks.  :)

ProudNavyMom , Did you get the box yet?  I got the box on Monday and then got the letter yesterday.  I am not sure what division my son  will be in now.  Who knows he might end up in your sons division.  I don't if he will start all over or be put in with another division finishing up P week. He had one more day to go.  Let me know when you get your stuff.  I am continuing to write so when I get the address I have letters to go.
