I know how you are feeling, it is heartbreaking. This website is so helpful and has so many loving moms going through the same thing. There is tons of info that will help you understand the process.

Hang in there :)

Thank you for your support. I have been reviewing a ton of stuff on this site and it has helped ALOT!!!

bawjoshsmom, I know what you mean.  My daughter arrived 9/17 also, and she was so choked up during the call, I couldn't understand half of what she read.  I asked if she was OK, and she said "No" then said she had to go.  I am assuming it was just emotions of the moment and not that she had already gotten into trouble!  This is going to be a worrisome time, but trying to keep a positive outlook until we get a letter.

Thank you for sharing your story. It has helped watching the youtube videos for the processing stage. It helps to know and see some of what they are experiencing. It also said that the first week is a culture shock but then they get into a routine. I'm so thankful for this site! It really is great to have people who understand. I'll be keeping you into my thoughts and prayers as well as your daughter.

My son also arrived at GL on 9/17 from Indiana. He called just after 10pm to let us know that he had arrived. I was a bit surprised the call did not seem quite as scripted as my husband and I had thought that it would. He said he arrived there around 8:20 and asked what time it was then. He said he was going into processing and that he'd probably be up really late and not get much sleep but that he was fine. Then we got the my address will be coming soon please share it with everyone, I won't be able to call again for about 3 weeks I've got to go now I will write love you bye. Not that we got to talk for very long but it was so good to hear from him. So hard to be without them.

THE BOX arrived today. Cant wait for THE FORM LETTER!!!
