Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 349 and 350

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello everyone. My name is Charlie (of course). My son is in division 350.  Left on 09/08. He said in his letter yesterday that everything is doing good.

Can't wait to see him on the 31st of Oct.

Hi Charlie! Got my first letter yesterday and let me tell you, it made my week! I missed out on the call home that most of you got over the weekend so the letter was awesome. My son sounded upbeat and said he was " scatterbrained" because he had gotten his first letter from home lol. He is sure making this mom proud! I hope your experience has been as uplifting!

Hi Ladies.  My name is Samantha and my son is in Division 350.  I received my first letter yesterday as well.  He said the best part of the day is "chow."  I can't wait to see him on the 31st.  Are both of you going to the Meet & Greet on Thursday, 10/30?

What is a meet and greet? I thought I was reading a lot to not miss anything but I guess not enough. Lol
My son also said "chow" was awesome. He did say he misses home a lot too.
I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Michele. I will be attending the meet and greet with a few other family members. I absolutely cannot wait to see my boy! We ought to arrange to find each other at PIR and sit together so our sailors can find us easily!

Charlie, the meet and greet is a dinner at a local grill. You can search Sarge's Meet and Greet on this site. It's a wonderful thing this couple does and you will learn a few inside tips for getting onto base, parking, etc.
Good morning ladies hope we get phone calls today
Good morning everyone!! My name is Eileen and I have twin daughters in this Div 349/350. I want to go to the meet and greet but our flight doesn't land until 6:30 pm so I don't know how long it will take us to get settled in hotel and Friday is an early morning! Would love to sit with this group at PIR!!
Hi, Eileen! Let's definitely make arrangements to find each other! My son said in his letter that they are getting a kick out of us all finding each other on here :)
Well no call today but that's ok, no news is good news right? Hope everyone had a great day. I would love to get together with everyone at the meet and greet and PIR also. Can't wait!

Yeah!! Just got a phone call from my son (division 349).  Made my day!  It was so great to hear from him!  Sounds upbeat, but anxious for graduation.  Can't wait until October 31st!

I got a call too! So excited. My son is div 350. He sounded great too. So happy for you proudmomof4.
I got a call too! My first one since the "I have arrived" because he had watch when the first calls went out. I was shopping and had my hands full and when I saw the 847 area code, I got so excited that I have no idea where I dropped my things lol but I headed straight for the door so I wouldn't miss a second of hearing his voice. He sounds great and has ranked up already so my heart is swelling with pride.
Oct 31 can't get here fast enough!

I'm so happy for all of you that also received calls!
