Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 904

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello!  38 Days to go and 5 Fridays (or those counting Fridays only)  I heard from my SR for the very first time yesterday, They are on week 2, day #2 today 10-28-2014.    I'm so relieved that I found this site, and grateful for such support and great information provided.  Praying for my SR and all of those not only in 904, but to all who have enlisted to protect our country. May they all remain strong, courageous, and  pass to become SAILORS!!   Blessing to everyone.  Enjoy your day.

My son is Ship 2 DIV 904. Got our first letter today. I miss him so much. Halloween is a big deal around here and it has been so hard to work on our display without him.

FlBroomie -

I'm so happy to hear that you got your first letter, how exciting is that! :o)  Its great to finally have other family members find and join this group, that have SR's in the same ship/div, than just myself.     We have 4 Fridays to go (not counting the actual Friday -  PIR)  Hang in there momma, hoping that you get your decorations up ok, but taking them down will be a different story...

Have a blessed day.

My SR is in ship 2 div 904 as well, got my first phone call on Saturday got 9 minutes, then the first 6 letters arrived this past Thursday and he called yesterday! Glad there doing good, he said some of the guys are questioning their higher ups and it's lots of ITE but hopefully they figure things out. :]

I wondering  if everyone in DIV 904 got a chance to call over the weekend.    I would love to here from my SR.  Every opportunity he does have, goes to his girlfriend, and not home.  :o(     No letters, and no calls home..... I'm trying to keep my spirits up, but I am really missing my son.

31 Days cant get here fast enough.

My daughter is in that div also and I have not heard from her I have faith that things are alright
Go Navy

28 Days until PIR!!   SUPER EXCITED!!   No letters, yet and no calls home.  Everyone sharing tid bits of info, it helps me to keep going!

Our last phone call was halloween night. Only 1 letter last week. Was really hoping for a phone call this weekend.

If anyone is staying at the Residence Inn Chicago Waukegan/Gurnee , I have reached out to this hotel and its been approved that we are allowed to use removable mounting putty only to hang your banner on the exterior side of your hotel room door  in celebration of your NEW SAILOR!!  I have plenty to share with you!     Thanks!

My last call was Halloween as well, although I've been getting letters every thursday and sometimes my SR will write a bunch on Sunday. He usually writes at night because he has trouble sleeping so maybe your SRs are just getting lots of rest! :] I'm already writing 2/3 letters a day and he wants more o.o But they just finished Hell Week according to the calendar my SR drew up for me. He said easy cruis for the weeks to come now. So hopefully you all will get letters! He didn't mention when the next phone call may be but he called his mother a couple days ago to get her email for the adopt a sailor since they were late sending the forms out. Did everyone else get an email?

Remember to watch the PIR tomorrow on the live stream!! Our SR's will be performing!!!!!
