Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Me neither!! I hope I'm not annoying the bejeezus out of co workers, etc. I eat and sleep Tom. I'm planning of having a t-shirt made-Navy blue of course- with his last name, PIR date, ship and division on the back. Then at the meet and greet it may easier to identify me from here....just a thought. How many days left?? Too many!

Yes, my daughter, too. She's 20 and never been away from home for more than a week (on vacation). I'm nervous, excited and sad. But I support her decision and am very proud. Good luck to your boys!

I just received the long awaited phone call from my daughter. She arrived at the RTC safe and sound. Within the few seconds she had told me I will be receiving another call from her in 3 weeks and should receive her box and form letter soon as well. My heart is aching because I miss her but am very excited for her as well. How are you ladies doing? Did you hear from your recruits yet?

When I received the call and he said he was able to make another in about 3 weeks he said he would like to call his girlfriend. I am so okay with that. She is away at University. :)

I got my call at 1:00am Friday morning the 14th! I bet I watched every video available! I hope they are just finishing up their P-days and can move on!

My son left on Nov. 12 too. My daughter in law had my phone and she slept through his 1am phone call on Thurs morning. Nice to know I can connect with some families and compare notes here. I am a little anxious to hear from him but not worried. I know he was motivated and ready to go.
