I'm right there with you Holly! Mine leaves June 3rd!!

How are you doing kmart?

Mine leave June 9th, so much to  do this month to prepare. He is leaving earlier than originally planned.

Awe that's hard band mom! How are you doing?
I'm doing ok, but I find myself thinking of something I will miss and start to cry a bit, and he's not even gone yet!
Just found out he will be leaving on Monday (the 8th) @ 0700, he got a text yesterday. I don't know whether it is the final day or if he comes home that night, he doesn't get sworn in until the next day "White Sox Nave day" I work weekend night shift and I am hoping I can get off tonight so I can be awake tomorrow for his last day. I know next week will just be the worst, but I also know it will get better. and it's the best thing for him, I am getting more sure of it.
He most likely won't be home, my son has to be at recruiters @ 5:30 on tuesday then swearing in on wed and they leave! I do know you can take them out to dinner when they are at the hotel! So our sons Pir will be together maybe we will meet! Today is hard my son is studying right now, just can't believe it I just want o hug and hold him till he leaves but not like a 20yr old will let you just hug them for a few minutes! I am going to miss going to the river, the lakr, fishing, and camping with him.He is so outdoorsy and spontaneously wants to do those activities! my other son like the outdoors, and is athletic but not like my oldest! I hope and pray you can get off to see him swear in!
Kmart, my husband leaves June 3 also!

Mine is leaving June 9 - middle child. I agree with everything you said!

Hi cindycl getting close and the anxiety is building missing him before he is gone! Hardest thing In life so far!

Today's recruiter/hotel day - swearing in tomorrow.  Leaving in a couple hours.  Getting anxious although he is just plain excited.  So far.... lol

Swearing in ceremony was great. Then they had lunch where we got to talk, then they had a meeting. Boy did they rush them out of the meeting and into the van to go to the airport.  Unexpected but we at least got a hug and "I love you"....

Hi Cindy,
Where was your swearing in? We will be in Tampa for my sons swearing in. Sounds, like they do each one different.
He goes on 24th of this month. This lake week will fly by.
Have a good weekend.
