Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 255 and 256

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Have you seen any of these video's of what they're doing as described by another sailer who's been through it. It's pretty cool to hear. I am writing our daughter letting her know that we're looking up some of the stuff she's doing so we're "with her" even from a thousand miles away:

Did you all get your call? I hope you did! They start writing tomorrow! So expect mail by Thursday!
Yes I did! He was worried, he thought something happened to me since he wasn't reviving letters. But I reassure him that I was well. Also, he loves the idea I joined this website :)
I got a phone call yesterday he said he had got two of the five letters sent out so far. My goodness it was good to hear his voice .
Yay! How exciting, do yall get to talk for about 40-45 min also? I was expecting a 10 minute call from what everyone else posted but those 45 minutes was just what I needed! My FS had only received one card, they should receive the rest of them that were sent out by Monday(last week) last night from what he said. And they are writing today! He's going to church first but after that he's spending his time writing! We should all get a letter by Thursday if not sooner!
My call was 15 min with him. He also was going to try and call his parents. Did you ladies have trouble hearing your recruit over the phone? It sounded if it was raining or something like that.
Awesome! Yes I had trouble hearing him at first but after about a minute it was very clear! :)

Got our call saturday afternoon. Were on the way back from the airport from an out of the country trip, so the timing was excellent! Was so good to hear her voice. She had been a little sick, and said she was struggling with the physical part of it all and didn't want to go to the infirmary and lose training time, but overall she was ok. Not great, but ok. They say that it get's better as the Division bonds and that better weeks are ahead. That's what we're hoping for. She's hanging in there. Not begging to come home, so that's good!
