Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 313 AND 314

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Wow, thanks for putting this group together.  My son arrived 7/27- was put in Div 313...evidently for him a push division.  We were so excited to find out his PIR date was a week sooner than planned.  :) I know some of us only recently received the form letters, and hopefully next week will be our turn for letters from our recruits :)  Time will fly by...especially with groups like this to support us and each other.

Looking forward to getting to you the other parents and families who's recruits are sharing the same experiences of a lifetime that my son is !

We recieved the form letter yesterday & it certainly brought happiness to our home! Our son is Div 313, PIR 9/18/15. We have booked our room & are counting the days.

This is awesome!! So happy to find this. Got my form letter yesterday and was so happy to see my son's NEAT hand writing that I didn't know he could do. Praying we all hear from our recruits this weekend.

Good morning everyone. Just got home from a 9 hour drive from a convention. My son also arrived at bootcamp on 7/27 and is in ship 13 div 314. We received form letter on Thrusday, but my husband & I had were in the convention. I was going to asked my younger to open it and take pics to send it to me, but I wanted to open it, and as soon as I got home a few mins ago, first thing I did is open the letter. I was hoping to get a personal phone call from him over the weekend, I kept my phone fully charged, but no such luck..during break times, I read all the posts here and it helped me get through the days... We are also glad that his PIR is a week than we anticipated, cuz my daughter (active duty) will be able to attend. Thank you everyone for sharing your thoughts and feelings of what we're going through. Can't wait to get to know you all...take care and have a nice day...

Hello everyone. I received my letter with ship, division and graduation date Friday. I was so excited. Cant wait to hear his voice. I have sent a letter and card already. I didn't realize that I need to send a phone card guess I will be doing that today. Look forward to talking to you all.

From what I am understanding - it sounds like DIV 313/314 was able yesterday to write letters and have them mailed for the first time.  We should hopefully see letters by end of this week from our SRs and if we're lucky- this is week 3...so a phone call :)  Keeping fingers and everything crossed!

Good morning everyone.  I spoke to my son this morning, and it did make my day.  I'm hoping you will all get calls, soon.  He did say they were receiving letters last week and he was able to mail letters home.  Can't wait for all of us to get letters from our SRs...Take care.

Thanks for the update CJDA! Hopefully we will all get calls and mail soon!

Yay!  This is great news.  So glad to hear they are getting our letters, that makes me feel better. Happy you got to hear his voice.   Fingers crossed for a letter and/or phone call very soon for all of us!

Did your son happen to say how the divisions were doing or what day they were in for training?

Hi. From what I can gather, I think they were testing. Cuz he said he passed 2 of his test and he's waiting for the result for the third one. He's getting his wisdom teeth pulled this week...

Hi Ladies. I was under the impression that they couldn't call until the weekend. Is that no so??
