I meant Deppers

My depper is shipping out December 15, 2015.

mine is shipping out on December 15, 2015 also.  How are you doing with it?

I am having a hard time with letting him go.  He is so excited and has a count down going.

This is her husband. She is avoiding the fact until the day Dallas leaves for boot camp. His Mother and I are very proud of him! It is going to be hard not having him near. We know he will be taken care of and grow as time moves along. We will get through this just like you will! We aren't sure of his feelings, he has never been one to be emotional, but I know he is thinking "what the hell am I doing, did I make the right decision?" Our kids will do just fine!

Kellis's husband, you can sign up for your own account on here. There is LOTS of info and support on here for you as well. I inivite you and your wife to join within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones).

You may want to check out Dads on Moms.....com and http://www.navydads.com/. There is also PROUD NAVY DADS, but it is not very active.

Kellis, check your My Page.

middlemom, Be prepared your future Sailor will most likely ship earlier than his current ship date due to the Navy Recruiting Holiday Stand-down, which is usually about a week before Christmas to just after New Year’s Day. There are about 3 weeks in December and into the first week of January when the RTC does not process in new recruits. See http://www.navycs.com/blogs/2011/10/14/the-voelker-rule. My expectation is that December ship dates will be 12/01/2015 through 12/10/2015. Recruits don't ship on Fridays.

This happened to us just this morning..moved from the 21st to Dec 2nd...

My depper is shipping out on December 7th. Ironically one of the most infamous days in history of the United States Navy. I am proud to be here and I'm sure us mom's will have lots of support in the upcoming months.

My son left yesterday, December7th too.

Hello...we found out this morning that my son is shipping out on Dec 2nd after being told he would leave on the 21st. We were told when he enlisted it could be earlier in the month, so we were somewhat prepared, but now it's real..the tears have been flowing all day...life looks different now..every moment..every second..so much more precious..

Rox, I left info for you on your My Page.
