Latest Activity

My son enters BC on July 8th (4 days before his 20th birthday).  I would like to throw a Navy related party for him.  Any good ideas and decorations and activities?  We will have about 12 kids at the party too, so I was hoping to integrate something like an obstacle course as well.  I've looke all over online and there are plenty of cool ideas for an Army Boot Camp Party, but close to nothing for the Navy.

Thank you,

Shelia

Do a search on Navyformoms, there are a few ideas from pervious parties. Anchors Aweigh Party. My daughter leaves in August. I have purchase blue plates and accessories with stars on them from the July 4th section of the discount store. I will buy more on July 5th when they go on sale. You can put the Navy emblem on the cake. I also found cupcake papers with stars on them and we will have a cake & cupcakes. I am going to have the guests write notes that I will mail to my SR while at bootcamp, I will collect them and mail them myself. I want to be able to read them, just in case they write something they shouldn't (you never know what 18-21 year olds will write). I plan on getting some Navy Flags to decorate with also.
