Hi  Thank you a lot.  My son made it and I made it to graduation! It was a big accomplishment for him.  He looks so proud of himself and I hope that he does good in school.  I was just not happy about the Navy thing, for many reasons mostly he is my only son.  I was so surprised how the Navy ppl treated me with such respect.  I have never been treated so nice and taken care of  so thank you Navy ppl because you are all very awesome!

Hi Tiffany. I really appreciate for welcoming me. I never knew about this blog/forum not until me and my husband were making our itinerary for my son PIR 9/4/15. We were researching on the web, what to expect on graduation and A-schooling. I'm really new to this, we never had any in our family in the military service.

Thank you, Tiffany. What a great site! So much helpful information. It's unbelievable how much there is to learn. My son is in Boot Camp now. Such a proud Navy Mom!

Thanks, for the welcome, Tiffany. My son is Pat, PIR 9/25 SHIP 12 and DIV 324. I changed my name to GoalieMom, as Mom2Pat is also a "goalie" mom. Pat is a hockey goalie. Just found out that he got his dog tags, NWUs and passed his swim test. He's been at boot camp just under three weeks.

Thank you so much..My daughter is scheduled to leave in about 3 wks...not really ready to do this again. My son is a Marine. Not ready to be empty nesters. I'm looking forward to getting more information as this will probably be a totally different experience. Thank you again..

Thank you so much! Really looking forward to graduation and seeing my grandson again. I've written him everyday. To date, I've had one letter.

He's excited about everything! Loving the Navy and I'm encouraged about his decision.Georgia
