Thank you so much for welcoming me into this site. I just know that I will have many question about my sons deployment. I was so excited when I found this site. I am both nervous and eager to find out what exactly goes on during boot camp.

I am very overwhelmed with all of the different sites to visit and understand. Why are a lot of different areas 1, 2, 3 and 4 years old? Is there current information that I am missing?

Thank you so much for the information.  My son's recruiter gave me his address as USS Triton, Ship 12 Div 035, Great Lakes, IL 60088-3515.  I have written 2 letters and I know his dad has written him more....does that sound like a valid address??  I just want my son to get his mail...I miss him terribly!!

Thank You for all the helpful info. This is a great site. Keep up the good work! Now a question. What do I do if I did not get the FORM LETTER? My son was not available when these letters were sent and so he never sent us one. WELL, here it is less than a week before his PIR (Oct.17) and we still do not have the letter. Panic has set it! He knows which guests are coming, but I don't know if he understands the importance of having us on the access list and giving us the password. We (my mother, my daughter and me) are flying to Chicago from 3 different locations across the country and it would be a shame to miss the main event! I have reminded my son in ALL of my letters....he responds that he's working on the problem.

 Can you help?

Thank you so very much!  I am so excited to know that you all exist.  This new adventure has proved to be even more challenging than we anticipated.  I have some questions regarding A school which I will ask later tonight.

I am looking forward to the sharing and support!
