Thank You for adding me to your family. I will do all that is required when I have more time, actually on the way out to go to class. This is so new, with having your child serving in the military. I was in the Army and his father and grandfather both retired from the Army. This is my baby, its just different somehow. Thanks again..Nicole

Thank you.  I did not participate in social media outlets much at all prior to our son leaving for RTC...and, basically was getting involved for his benefit so that I could help friends and out of state family keep up with his happenings.   However, it appears there is a wealth of information at Navy for Moms that will be helpful to us through his process.  He has been at basic since Oct. 2, in the 801 Division.  He is doing great!  We have received his brief "Made it here" phone call, 3 letters and Friday evening we had a really wonderful 30 minute call.   I look forward to exploring the site for articles, comments and encouragement.  We are beyond proud, our son has played golf since he was 10 years old. He played college golf and was an All-American, and most recently his college team are the 2014 NAIA National Champions.  He has NEVER wanted to be but 2 things in his life...One was an accomplished golfer, the other is to be a member of the US Navy's elite Special Warfare team....  One down, and one to go!!  Again, I look forward to being a Navy Mom.

I had another account. Susan, Michael's Mom. I would prefer to have that account back. I have not been able to access it. As the man who ran the rushisp.com accounts went out of business, so I no longer have that account. I could not get in without it, as I think I had also forgotten my password. Anyway, is there a way you can connect me back to my original account, but tie it to my working email acct of marythomas1@suu.edu?
Thanks for letting me know. I will go to my suu acct now and see if that is a better way to contact you.
