My son just completeds PIR on June 3, 2011. He is gone to A School in SC. He doesn't have a phone yet so I'm not sure how to communicate with him. He is a Nuke and I am just wondering if there are any other Nuke families on here? I didn't know about this in time to meet up with the families the evening before graduation so I don't want to miss out on any more events.

Hi Renebo, I am very excited!  He just came home for the weekend.  He looks great!  I am going to see him on July 4th weekend!  Stay on base when you visit.  It is so much easier for our sailors!

My son is in Pensacola for A school. He has been there for about a month already. We are able to communicate by phone now- so even less letters. I am having a hard time navigating this site- there seems to be so much!

Hey group!  My sailor just began DC training at Great Lakes!  PIR was amazing.  He doesn't have a phone yet, so can anyone tell me how to write to a DC who is E3?  I know his ship, but that's about all.

Hi Renebo.  My son graduated BESS on Feb. 11, then ATT & Techno.  He has been in A school for three weeks.  Tentative grad date is either Aug.26 or Sept. 9.
