Jill H & Everyone -
Thanks for the support. This A school sounds like a whole different ballgame. I don't think I have to worry about him as much as when he was at BC.

My only news is that my son is being sent to Hawaii. We don't have a date for the transfer yet, but he is going with several guys that he's working with in Norfolk. He's also a CTN.

Hello -
Our son arrived in Pensacola last week. His training will be for CTR. We haven't heard from him for a few days - which probably means he's settling in so well!

So just because they have started class, does not mean that their clearance is finished? I am surprised that they let them start.
Comment by LindainIvorVA on May 4, 2010 at 8:47am
thanks ! I know but she seems to think she'll be there between 6-12 mo.. but, she don't think that's a bad thing... LOL.. she seems to be doing so well.. guess she's getting the day off cuz she organized a Navy picnic.. who wud of thunk ? LOL..
oh happy days...everyone have gr8 day..
Comment by bulldogmamma on May 3, 2010 at 11:29pm
The clearance takes a long time my husbands took a while and he was a military brat so checking all over was a pain, they spoke to random hs classmates and old friends and teachers. When he was upgraded they checked with my family and friends and knocked on the doors of neighbors in old apartments and housing we had lived in. Its intense.
