For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

T-Track time - A text msg from my son at 10:49AM GC time - said he had just been released from watch, I guess. He had been awake for 30 hours!! and goodnight!! (I had told him that I would not text him, but would email him since I wasn't sure what his sleep schedule was going to be with standing watch. Now I know why he hasn't emailed me as well.

Comment by B'sNukeMoM⚓️MMN(Vet) on April 18, 2018 at 10:56am: I'm not sure if any of you heard about the Southwest flight that lost an engine yesterday and had to make an emergency landing in Philladelphia - sadly one woman lost her life - but they are crediting the pilot Tammie Jo Shults with safely landing the plane. She is a former fighter pilot with the Navy!

PacNWMom: Glad you had a great time at the coast. I was in the Coast Range Monday morning, the snow level was right above us. So coooold, and raining sideways. It sounds we all are getting cheated out of a spring this year.

Comment by B'sNukeMoM⚓️MMN(Vet) on April 17, 2018 at 4:44pm: MichianaMom - I've been having the same problem with my N4M emails. I look at mine on my phone and lately it seems like more of them are going to spam/junk than ever were before. It's frustrating!

On my phone I can click on the "edit" then click on the email & then "move" it back to the inbox. But they still continue to come into junk - ugh!!!!!
